Celebrate summer in the Spiegeltent

THE countdown to summer in Barwon Heads is under way with Wonderland Spiegeltent and its arts and entertainment playground, filled with sparkling lights, a nostalgic Ferris wheel overlooking the Barwon River, a Sunset Bar to enjoy the wonderful atmosphere, sunsets over Barwon Heads and live tunes in the garden bar.

From December 27 to January 28, the beautiful opulent popup venue, a favourite to the region, will host several shows.

The Spiegeltent is complete with stained-glass windows, velvet aplenty, all wooden and all mirrored, and audiences will enjoy and gasp at world-class cabaret, music and circus with laughs a-plenty.

Shimmy this way, campers and holiday fun in the sun makers. Sip, savour and celebrate at Wonderland Spiegeltent Festival Hub, where the drinks are cold, the donuts are sweet, the popcorn is popping, the lights are raunchy and the entertainment is smoking.

The Wonderland Spiegeltent will feature everything from astounding circus, magical stories of Neverland and the boy who never grew up, luscious burlesque, big comedy names and a champagne-fuelled adult cabaret Popcorn Underground with special events over five packed weeks.

Headlining the family program is Circus Wonderland Presents Peter Pan – A Neverland Adventure, a returning production with new characters including Nana and adventures jam-packed in this reimagining of the classic JM Barrie story about Peter Pan, the boy who would never grow old.

For the adults, Wonderland’s hit cabaret show, Popcorn Underground is ready to delight audiences with the creme de la creme of the cabaret world. This riotous variety show includes Gingzilla the 7-Foot Tall Glamonster, and a stellar cast of world-class circus carnival sideshow and variety.

Music lovers, get ready for a huge lineup of musicians. Get ready to rock with Joe Camilleri and the Black Sorrows, INXSIVE, Ella Hooper and local favourites The Bash Big Band.

Outside in the gorgeous garden bar enjoy, live music, performances, and the breathtaking views of the Barwon River. Enjoy tasty treats of popcorn, fairly floss, donuts, twisted chip on a stick and more.
