Colac all set for festival of food, music and culture
An enticing day-long festival of music, culture and food is in store when FLAVAFEST hits the regional city of Colac this summer on February 26.
Iconic Aussie performer Ross Wilson will headline the Colac leg of the regional tour.
Ross “Eagle Rock” Wilson is one of Australian rock music’s most enduring and lauded talents having been twice inducted into the ARIA Hall of Fame (1989 solo and 2006 with Daddy Cool).
Wilson continues to win acclaim and will be joined at FLAVAFEST by Indie rockers Kingswood, ARIA award-winning Melbourne Ska Orchestra and soul, blues, rock outfit Mahalia Barnes and The Soul Mates.
The critically acclaimed Emma Donovan and The Putbacks will also take to the stage at Colac Turf Club, with more acts yet to be announced.
Together with the fantastic musical line-up, FLAVAFEST will also show off the region’s rich and diverse local produce and arts by presenting a range of demonstrations, brewery and distillery showcases, tastings and more.
The tour will also venture to Sale on February 12, 2022, with legends of Australian music The Black Sorrows as the headline act, along with the anthemic alt-rock quartet Motor Ace adding to the bill.
FLAVAFEST is presented by Live Nation and Fat Apple Event Co and supported by the Victorian Government through Creative Victoria.
Tickets for all the all-ages family-friendly event will go on sale at 10am on Thursday, October 14.
