BELLARINE candidates vying for the coming City of Greater Geelong elections will be put through a series of questions during forums held across the region.

The 10 combined Bellarine Community Associations have invited the public to attend the “Meet the Candidates” forums in Portarlington, Ocean Grove and Drysdale/Clifton Springs during the next two weeks.

“The candidates will be asked to respond for five minutes each to a series of questions predetermined by the combined associations, plus there will be a question of specifically local relevance at each forum,” Combined Community Associations spokesperson Chris Kelly said.

“This will be followed by questions from the floor.

“Most of the candidates for Bellarine Ward have indicated that they will attend.”
