Cruise with Port Phillip Ferries this summer
PORT Phillip Ferries is the best way to explore the bay this summer.
The service is on a mission to transform daily travel between Melbourne and the Geelong and Bellarine regions, one cruise at a time, and has two excellent options for locals and tourists alike this December and January.
New this summer, Port Phillip Ferries will offer a daily service between Portarlington and Geelong, in addition to the daily Geelong service departing from Docklands.
From the Giant Sky Wheel and historic Carousel, to a swim or a picnic at the pristine Eastern Beach swimming area, there is plenty of the whole family to enjoy in Geelong.
Best of all, it’s all only a short walk from where the ferry docks at Cunningham Pier in the heart of the Geelong Waterfront.
This option is ideal for those already planning a summer escape to The Bellarine, allowing them to leave the car behind and cruise to Geelong.
Prices start from $20 for adults, and children under 13 travel free.
Another way to discover the beautiful Bellarine coastline is on a Summer Discovery Cruise
Designed to give passengers a different perspective of Port Philip Bay, the family-friendly, one-hour cruises give guests the opportunity to go for a relaxed cruise aboard a state-of-the-art 35-metre catamaran.
Kick back and enjoy the coastal scenery of The Bellarine coastline as you enjoy a refreshing beverage from the licensed café.
Tickets are $20 for adults, and children under 13 go free (terms and conditions apply).
Cruises will depart from Portarlington Pier at 2.30pm on December 30, January 6 and January 20.
