FOR generations, The Sandman Mattress Factory has been delivering the highest quality mattresses to its Geelong and Surf Coast customers.

The company has more than 62 years’ experience in the industry, and sales manager Rebecca Trenerry said the unique thing about Sandman’s mattresses is that they were all double sided.

“The majority of mattresses and pillow tops in the market today are only made one-sided. This means that instead of your mattress lasting 10-15 years like they used to, they only last four to six years before developing huge body impressions.

“Too many manufactures increase profit by charging more money for less quality and end up selling more mattresses because of the shorter lifespan.”

The Sandman Mattress Factory offers a free delivery and mattress removal service with new mattresses purchased for Geelong and Surf Coast residents.

“We have three outlets with our mega showroom on Torquay Road Grovedale conveniently located for our customers on the coast. It’s one of the biggest bedroom display rooms in Geelong,” Ms Trenerry said.

With their head office, showroom and factory in Norlane and Colac outlet The Sandman Mattress Factory services customers across the region with all their bedding needs.

“We manufacture everything from your first bed, cot mattress to your retirement bed even luxurious latex pillow top mattresses and bases,” Ms Trenerry said.

“From bedroom furniture to commercial bedding, we can meet all of our customer’s needs.”

Clients will also be able to buy their mattresses online when The Sandman Factory launches their new online service in the upcoming months.

“We also have some really exciting news with a Sandman Custom Range (SCR) in the works that will enable customers to design their own custom mattress,” Ms Trenerry said.

“They (customers) will be able to follow a step by step process choosing what they want in a mattress from the springs, to the pillow top style and comfort layer.”

She said calls were always welcome from people looking for a particular product or just seeking advice, and encouraged customers to take advantage of their extensive knowledge.
