Australian Indi-folk musicians The Dreggs, are hitting the road for their regional tour following the release of their debut album Caught in a Reverie.

As they make their way around regional venues, the duo will drop in at the Barwon Heads Hotel on November 1.

Growing up on the Sunshine Coast, Paddy Macrae and Zane Harris formed The Dreggs in 2017, starting out covering songs and performing in pubs, clubs and cafes.

2017 saw the pair release their first single “Give Myself to You” which was certified gold in Australia in 2023.

Fast forward to April 2024 and the pair released their debut album, featuring 12 tracks.

The release of Caught in a Reverie saw them celebrate with a string of launch parties, including a sold-out show at the Torquay Hotel in May.

Following the Queensland and Victorian launch parties, the duo headed to the UK and Europe touring the album before returning and playing in Australia and New Zealand.

The Dreggs are no strangers to being on the big stage, with crowds of around 10,000 watching on as they performed at the Spilt Milk Festival in 2023 and, more locally, last year’s Queenscliff Music Festival.

Following their performance in Barwon Heads, The Dreggs will continue their regional Australian tour before reaching Glen Alvie for a NYE on the Hill performance.
