THE Barwon Heads Art Group’s Easter Art Show is returning this year with a display running across four days.
From April 18 until April 21, the Barwon Heads Senior Citizens Centre will be filled with artworks from a range of mediums.
More than 100 paintings will be on view, from landscapes and seascapes through to abstracts, watercolours, oils and more.
A variety of hand painted cards will also be on show.
Art Show convenor Dorothy Van Dorp said all the works are of a high quality and the group is looking forward to showing off their works.
“There’s a lot of local scenery, especially when it comes to the water. They’re a great souvenir to people here on their holiday and the tourists can take them for a memory,” she said.

“We work all year to do these paintings and would like to be successful and for people to come in and have a look to see what we do.”
The art show will also participate in the Good Friday Appeal and while entry to the event is free, organisers are asking people to give freely on the day.
From the paintings sold throughout the event, 10 per cent of the proceeds will be donated to the Good Friday Appeal.
The Barwon Heads Art Group is made up of 20 artists, with two new members joining this year who will be showing their work for the first time.
The art show will be open between 10am and 4pm each day.
