Eireborne to land in Geelong in 2024
Geelong locals are set to embrace Irish dancing fever next year when the highly anticipated and popular Irish performing sensations Eireborne head to Geelong for the first time.
Off the back of a sensational and sold-out national tour in 2022, Eireborne will be dancing onto the stage of Costa Hall for one night only on May 18.
The all-Australian production combines live rock music with 20 of the world’s best Irish dancers and tap dancers for a dazzling and breathtaking display which will no doubt thrill and entertain.
Set to feature renowned singers Reigan Derry and Pete Murphy alongside a six-piece band, the electrifying performance will immerse audiences in the anthems of Irish artists such as U2, Sinead O’Connor, The Cranberries, Van Morrison, Hozier, The Script, Enya and The Corrs.
Lead dancer/creator/choreographer and co-producer Peta Anderson said the show would be a must-see for anyone looking to capture a breathless fusion of rhythm, melody and theatrics.
“We are thrilled to bring back this dazzling and unmissable show.
“Our goal is to push the boundaries of Irish dance and deliver a mesmerizing experience like never before.
“The audience can expect 11 costume changes throughout the show, making it an unforgettable visual display.”
Critics have been lauding Eireborne’s revolutionary Irish entertainment display, with Dance Life Australia labelling the show as “simply sensational” and Studio 10’s Tristan MacManus stating: “The show was unbelievable, it’s a show to be proud of”.
