NOW that the weather is decidedly cooler, what better time to book tickets to see some exhilarating performances at the Potato Shed?

Get ready to be dazzled when A Night with Tina shimmies into the Shed on April 5 at 8pm.

Celebrated drag tribute artist Fabio Cattafi, along with his six back up dancers, brings to life the timeless hits of the incomparable Queen of Rock n’ Roll, Tina Turner.

Country soul queen and revered Indigenous singer songwriter Emma Donovan brings her new show Songs, Stories and Soul from Family and Country, to the Potato Shed on April 13 at 8pm, sharing songs from her coming album Til My Song is Done.

On Tuesday, April 23 and Wednesday 24, former Bellarine Secondary College student and founder of the contemporary dance company Collision Dance, Stacey Carmichael, returns to the Shed with a/lone. Direct from the 2023 Edinburgh Fringe Festival, this original production incorporates physical theatre, contemporary dance and verbatim theatre.

Loved in Jekyll and Hyde, and A Slightly Isolated Dog return on Wednesday, May 1 with Don Juan. Join the revelry when five ludicrous “French” performers give you their take on the Trickster of Seville.

The 1960s come alive when Mr Entertainment Issi Dye alongside Glenn Douglas will serenade the audience with The Beatles meet the Everly Brothers Tribute Show at 8pm on Friday May 3.

Fresh from Adelaide Fringe Festival, Tash York’s Happy Hour is an invitation to their world of raucous comedy and live music. One night only! Saturday, May 18.

The annual Winter Solstice One-Act Plays presented by resident theatre company Theatre 3triple2 celebrate the best in local Bellarine theatre. Friday, June 21 and Saturday, June 22.

The Potato Shed will ring with the ethereal sounds of the Geelong Welsh Ladies Choir, joined by the Victoria Welsh Male Choir 2:30pm Sunday June 30, with Making Musical Memories.

Tuesday Morning Showtime shows feature Beyond the Shadows (April 9); The Seekers and Beyond (May 7); Let’s be Frank! (Starring Steve Zammit and Issi Dye, May 28) and Peter Sullivan and Andrea Lee’s Tribute to Burt Bacharach (June 25). All shows include morning tea.
