Events spring up at Little Creatures

LITTLE Creatures Geelong is a bit like Willy Wonka’s Chocolate Factory… but for beer.

The true brewery village experience includes a bustling Canteen, the White Rabbit Barrel Hall and the Furphy Hall.

True to form, you can grab a fresh beer, a bite to eat inside or out, watch the brewers racing around doing their thing, and enjoy brilliant beer launches and epic markets throughout the year.

There is a jam-packed spring coming up, with the next market to be the much-anticipated Dog Lovers Market in the Little Creatures Laneway on September 11 from 11am, with more stalls than ever before and pup-friendly laneway dining. There will be lots of goodies available including treats, walking accessories, bandanas, a doggy photo booth, dog training and grooming, local vets, grooming products and even pet-themed gifts for humans. So grab your furry pals and head down; booking are essential for pooch-friendly outdoor dining.

On September 25 from 11am, the brewery will be holding another Witches Market at Furphy Hall from 11am. An eclectic troupe of laughter, love and light, the market is set to feature clairvoyants, massage therapists, healers as well as exclusive stalls selling crystals, oracle cards, macrame, candles, jewellery and more. Check out the market then head straight to the Little Creatures Canteen for some grub and a beer.

There will be plenty of exciting activities for children as Little Creatures introduce an Oktoberfest theme for the September school holidays. Arts and crafts will run on Wednesdays and Thursdays from noon-3pm, and a special Oktoberfest menu will also be available.

For regular programming, grab your pals for Quiz Meisters in the Canteen on Wednesday nights from 6.30pm where you can also grab a pizza and a pint for just $25. With crazy questions, strange segments and all-round unique quizzing action, this fun night out is proving extremely popular. It’s also free entry with great prizes to won, so make sure you get in early to book your table.

Little Creatures is also cranking live acoustic music from 2pm on Saturdays, with a DJ serving up beats on from 5pm on Fridays and 1pm on Sundays. Family fun activities and children’s entertainment kicks off at 1pm on Sundays.

It’s also Friday Fun Day over at White Rabbit with live acoustic music from 5pm and a roaring fire all weekend.
