Transition Towns aim to support communities to be more self-sufficient with food and energy production and minimising waste. The Queenscliff community is invited to hear more about Transition Towns on Saturday April 21 at 2pm at Queenscliff Town Hall. Contact Brooke on 0422 705 768 for more information and register to attend this free workshop at transitionStreetsqpl.eventbrite.com.au.
SUNDAY 22/4
Blues at Bellbrae
Bellbrae Estate is once again staking claim to one of the best live music locations on the Bellarine with Rhythm X Revival performing Sunday. With free entry and doors open at 2pm the Victorian boys John-Luke Shelley and Johnny Tesoriero – JL out front and Johnny on the drums – should put on a stellar performance. Their new album drips with the influence of Memphis, Nashville, and perhaps a couple of dodgy honkytonks in between, and was recorded by another Melbourne soul man Sam Teskey in the Teskey Brothers studio. Bellbrae Estate is located at 520 Great Ocean Road.
