DJS HEAD TO TORQUAY PUB
Event organisers Coastal Jam and UNO Presents will be entertaining Torquay locals and visitors this Good Friday at the Torquay Hotel. With DJ sets from Digitalism and Joyride as well as MorningMawell and London Topaz (live), the evening is sure to attract party folk and electronic music enthusiasts from around the coast. A complimentary shuttle bus for wristband holders will take patrons to the Geelong CBD at the event’s end. Final release tickets are $50 per person and can be purchased via facebook.com/coastaljam and visiting the event section. Ticketholders must be 18 or over to enter.

The Bellarine Railway is offering a scenic 45-minute train ride which departs from Queenscliff at 1.30pm on Easter Saturday (April 20) as well as Easter Sunday (April 21). Guests can create an “Easter Bonnet” at home to enter the parade for the chance to win prizes. There will also be an Easter egg hunt and photo opportunities with the Easter bunny. Tickets can be purchased online or at the booking office upon arrival (unless sold out prior). Prices range from $22 for an adult and $19 for children aged 4-17 years. LAST INSTALMENT OF COWRIE MARKET
The Torquay Cowrie Market will host its last instalment for the season this Sunday, taking to the Torquay Foreshore to showcase local talent. Hidden amongst the trees overlooking Zeally Bay, the not-forprofit community market – which is run by Surf Coast Arts Inc. – will feature quality local art, craft, jewellery, vintage plants and fresh produce. Surf Coast artists including Ruby Shirreff, Lucy and the Night Sky, The Shy Guys, Reverie Music, Immy Owusu, Izzy Losi and De Porsal will perform across the market’s two stages to sign-off before its return in September. The market will be on from 10am-3pm.
