Women of the Hinterland

The Women of the Hinterland, an exciting new exhibition has opened at the Surf Coast Art Space June 6 and will run until June 17. The gallery is open daily from 10.30am until 4pm and features paintings by a group of women with a shared love of the countryside. Each artist has a history of life on the land. The Women of the Hinterland are presenting an exhibition inspired by that love, by the beauty of the earth and her gardens. To see works head to the gallery located at Shop 2, 103 Great Ocean Road, Anglesea.

Watch the Cats via ferry

Port Phillip Ferries have been trialling services between Geelong and Melbourne and the public’s support so far has been fantastic, so this Sunday the ferries will be heading over to catch the Geelong Cats vs Richmond Tigers game at the MCG. Departing Geelong Waterfront at 12.30pm at Steampacket Quay next to the carousel, the ferry will arrive back in Geelong approximately 9pm – 9.15pm. Dust off your footy gear and practice singing your theme song.
