Celebrate the long night
The Winter Solstice Play Festival is taking place at the Potato Shed over June 29-30. Theatre3Triple2 has produced two local stories by Geelong Playwrights Shane Foyster and Amy Jo-Reynolds. Their plays, What Became of the Hooded Plover and Until Next Week will be shown over two nights with live music performed by Melody Moon, roaring bonfires and mulled wine. Can Portarlington use a home game advantage to bounce back from a 149-point Modewarre flogging and beat Ocean Grove? Queenscliff Lowlight Festival
Head to Queenscliff and take part in a selection of activities running as part of the inaugural Lowlight Festival. The Queenscliff Harbour is hosting Low Light ‘8mm’ – a series of projections taking place at the Business Hub on the Queenscliff Marina. Running every Saturday and Sunday from 11am until 3pm. Searoad Ferries is also presenting High Tea on the High Seas, cruise the bay on a return two-hour sail.
