Golden Plains Farmers’ Market

Held on the first Saturday of every month (except January), the Golden Plains Farmers’ Market, located in Bannockburn, is an award winning, authentic farmers’ market showcasing a fantastic range of farm-fresh, locally grown and homemade produce. Visitors to the Golden Plains Farmers’ Market are guaranteed a genuine market experience – fabulously fresh food sold and served by the very best farmers, growers and makers the region has to offer. Held on the first Saturday of every month, from 8.30am to 12.30pm, in the heart of Bannockburn (less than a half hour drive from Geelong) at 23 High Street.

Fabulous Fringe Sundays

Geelong’s newest event – Fringe Sundays – sees local musicians collaborate on innovative, genre-spanning projects at Geelong’s iconic Black Hatt Hotel. Award winning pianist and composer Callum Watson presents a new musical collaboration every month between groups that otherwise may not play together. Fringe Sundays gathers a new ensemble of eclectic Geelong and Surf Coast musicians for an afternoon exploring approaches to adding potent Jazz stylings to past and present top 40 hits.
