Surfside’s Fresh Food Fair

Ocean Grove’s Surfside Primary School will be holding their annual Fresh Food Fair. This popular event is the school’s major fundraiser, with the proceeds going towards their fantastic Kitchen Garden Program. The fair will run from 3.15pm until 7.30pm and will feature a range of stalls, activities, rides and entertainment. From face-painting, show bags, lemonade and farm animals there’s a family activity for everyone. Entry to the fair is a gold coin donation, located at 31-65 John Dory Drive. ArtspOt opens

Surf Coast Arts Inc. proudly presents ArtspOt 2018, an exhibition celebrating local talent across many genres. Work
from photographers, illustrators, sculptors, painters, large and small, robust and delicate. Visit and discover the delights
or purchase a treasure to take home. The exhibition is showing at the Surf Coast Art Space located at 2/103 Great Ocean Road Anglesea, with free entry and running daily from 11am until 5pm until November 11.

Barker, band and bowls

Head down to the Torquay Bowls Club and catch Nick Barker and his band The Heartache State in action this Melbourne Cup Weekend. The Sunday show from 3-6pm promises to be a good one as they play hits from latest album The Last Of The Buffalo, jam packed with their selfdescribed “Raggedy Ass Rock ‘n’ Roll” sound.
