SunSets at Torquay Hotel
Boo Seeka will kick off the local leg of the Coronas SunSets series today at the Torquay Hotel. Massive crowds are predicted to take in sounds of the Aussie synth duo. The pair have dominated national airwaves and featured on triple j’s Hottest 100 with their electronica/hip-hop hits. In pairing up with Corona the group will join several notable Aussie acts who have toured as part of the series in the past, including Portugal. Workshop and market
Basils Farm is holding their Get Ready for Summer Gardening workshop today. Running from 10am until 12pm, the cost is $40 per person or $70 inclusive of lunch (with three choices available) and a glass of wine/ coffee. The final day of Word for Word
The last day of the Word for Word Non-Fiction Festival is taking place today. The festival is Australia’s only national literary event with a dedicated focus on non-fiction writing and ideas. Passionate presenters and robust questions create a platform for discussion, dialogue and debate on a variety of subjects. The weekend sessions are held at the iconic Geelong Library & Heritage Centre and are packed with fascinating discussions through a series of in-conversations, panels, keynote addresses and the comic brilliance of the Great Debate.
