Emotions Unmasked
All Aboard Disability Support Services has an exhibition, Emotions Unmasked, being shown at the Surf Coast Art Space in Anglesea, located at Shop 2, 103 Great Ocean Road. The exhibition features a variety of works, such as self-portraits, collages, mixed media, papier mache and mosaics from participants in the All Aboard Art and About group. Greasy blues at the grill
Back by popular demand, Melbourne Blues supergroup, the Three Kings, are playing at the Piping Hot Chicken and Burger Grill on Saturday night at 7.30pm. The group is a trio of this country’s most dedicated, authentic blues artists, with down and dirty, totally inspiring results. Three Kings’ hard-hitting, greasy blues style takes you on a dangerous joy ride through the back roads and juke joints of American music history, combining the sounds of artists such as Kid Thomas, John Lee Hooker, Slim Harpo and Jerry McCain with their own original spin. Archibald officially opens
Geelong Gallery is the exclusive Victorian venue for the 2017 Archibald Prize. High profile, eagerly anticipated and often controversial, the Art Gallery of New South Wales’ Archibald Prize is Australia’s favourite art award for the best portrait painting of the who’s who in Australian culture, with subjects often including politicians, celebrities, sporting heroes, authors and artists.
