Movies in the moonlight
Attend an unforgettable night under the stars at the fourth annual Moonlight Cinema at The Point, Point Lonsdale, screening the animated box office smash hit film Inside Out. Interested families are welcome to bring their own picnic rug with a sausage sizzle, popcorn, ice cream and fairy floss available. Tickets are free but must be acquired prior to the event. Surf on the screen
The eighth annual Bells Beach Surf Film Festival concludes tonight, bringing the best surf films in the world to Torquay for screening at the world famous Australian National Surfing Museum. Welcome To Raglan will feature on closing night and is a fun look at life in one of New Zealand’s biggest surf towns. Doors open at 7.40pm, with the film starting at 8pm. The food trucks are coming
Food Truck Fiesta is on its way to Geelong from January 5 until tonight after its cancellation earlier in December. The Fiesta is offering more than 25 food vendors, live music and exclusive offers including Espresso Martinis and limitless dog-pats. This is the first time Geelong will host the Food Truck Fiesta, and the line-up is strong – Royal Stacks, Mr Burger, Mr Chow, St Gerry’s, Billy Van Creamery and more. Entry to Geelong Food Truck Fiesta is $5 for over 18s, free for kids and includes a full day of activities for all ages. The event is located at the Geelong Showgrounds from 5-11pm on Friday and noon-11pm on Saturday and Sunday.
