Food and wine fest

A Melbourne Food and Wine Festival event is taking place at Bellarine Peninsula’s Jack Rabbit Vineyard, where all products are sourced within a 10-kilometre radius. Five divine courses will be on offer ranging from freshly caught seafood to succulent lamb, local goats cheese to fresh local produce. A delicious range of cool climate wines will also be matched to the decadent menu. Sculpture time

More than 65,000 people visited the Lorne foreshore in 2016 to partake in the Lorne Sculpture Bienalle Festival (LSB) with similar numbers expected this year. The LSB is a vibrant festival celebrating the best of Australian and contemporary sculpture and is a free event that runs from March 17 until April 2. Held along the picturesque Lorne Foreshore the sculptures are predominantly outside and on display 24/7. Rock royalty set for Aireys

Sunday is the final day for the 2018 Aireys Inlet Open Mic Festival. It will wrap up a weekend of fantastic live music and entertainment. Head to Aireys to see the special mystery guest on Sunday afternoon. Last year’s guest was Australian singer-songwriter sensation Tash Sultana. Festival director Tony Caon said he couldn’t give too much away other then they are “Australian rock royalty”. The festival has free entry but donations are encouraged.
