Bring it to Bellbrae

Bellbrae Singing for Fun, held on the last Friday of the month will go ahead this Good Friday. Enjoy traditional Easter hot cross buns, customary warmer-season salads, delicious fresh fruit and bread plus a fun approach of singing as a group. Communal, sometimes simple, other times challenging but always fun. Held throughout the year on the last Friday of the month from 6 – 8pm at Bellbrae Hall School Rd Bellbrae $12 per person and $9 concession. Newcomers always welcome.

Festival drops at Torquay

The Drop is a new touring festival which will hit the shores of Torquay on Easter Saturday to coincide with the Rip Curl Pro, with Safia, Dune Rats, San Cisco, Holy Holy and Ruby Fields in tow. A combination of local culture, food and beverage vendors and a shared love of the ocean. The Drop will be held at Torquay Common on March 31 from 4pm. This is a licensed all ages event, organisers recommend children under 16 are accompanied by a parent or guardian. Easter Funday

The legendary hits of Cold Chisel will be brought to life by Gold Chisel Easter Sunday at the Torquay Bowls Club. Dance off your Easter eggs and sing along to classics like “Flame Trees”, “Khe Sanh” and “When the War Is Over”. Some of the finest musicians will recapture the true sound of Cold Chisel as well as recreating the energy and excitement which made them one of the biggest draw cards of the Australian live music scene.
