Falls fever hits Lorne

January 9, 2018 BY

Falls Festival Lorne saw event-goers have a blast in varying weather conditions. Starting the festival with a bang on the Thursday, Daryl Braithwaite took to the stage. During his 45-minute set, Braithwaite’s 1990 single “Horses” got the crowd singing, with only the drums keeping the beat. Day two of the festival saw the skies open, but the party continued with the many free activities on offer including Rancho Relaxo, make-up and lawn games. Day three saw a huge, talented line-up, with crowds moving to the valley stage at 8.20pm to see the highly anticipated Liam Gallagher perform, followed by the Fleet Foxes, while the New Year was rung in with a set from Run the Jewels. As festival-goers left the venue on January 1, festival organisers encouraged drivers to visit the Vanessa van for a breath test, food and water before hitting the road to ensure a safe drive home.
