Time flies when you’re having fun, they say. And that certainly is the case for Jayne Sedgmen, owner of clothing boutique Just Next Door in Portarlington.

“I have really enjoyed getting to know my regular customers and love sourcing clothes I know that a particular customer will love,” Jayne said.

“I also get a real buzz when visitors comment that they wish they had a store like Just Next Door close to their home.” Jayne has been in business for twoand- a-half years and stocks quality and affordable labels for women of all ages on the Bellarine. These well-known labels include Elm, Threadz, Clarity, Ellis and Dewey, Alessi, One Ten Willow, and Jendi.

A selection of shoe styles include the popular Django and Juliette, I Love Billy, Mollini and Just Bee brands.

The store is really a one stop shop with jewellery (costume and sterling silver), scarves, homewares and handbags (Rugged Hide, Dusky Robin and Black Caviar) and Maine Beach skin care products available. Just Next Door is also stocking Hedgren bags for women who love the added security and comfort of these bags.

Jayne has recently created an Instagram account in addition to the existing Facebook page, so visitors and locals are able to keep up to date with new arrivals and can purchase and arrange postage over the phone.
