Geelong mum wins silver at the recent AusMumpreneur awards
GEELONG mum Emma Rayson and her business partner Alison Kenna have taken out second place at the AusMumpreneur National Retail Business of the Year Awards.
Ms Rayson and Warrnambool’s Ms Kenna, who founded Alma Custom Designs, said they were totally elated winning this award.
“It felt like we have been validated for all the hard work we have put into our small business over the past three years,” the pair said.
“We meet so many inspirational women over the two-day event with varying talents and stories to share. The other women in our category should feel very proud of themselves as we are as well.”
The awards were held at Doltone House in Sydney, where talented mums from across the country gathered to support and encourage other Australian “mumpreneurs”.
Award co-founder Peace Mitchell said the awards were all about recognising the growing number of mums who were achieving outstanding business success while balancing motherhood.
