Get digging at Basils this Autumn
BASILS Farm’s popular Autumn Gardening Workshop is set to return to help people embrace their green thumbs.
The team at Basils Farm are passionate about using sustainable practices in their extensive kitchen and market gardens; from modest beginnings, the edible gardens have been a labour of love, growing to become a key feature of the farm.
The garden spoils supplying produce to the Cafe and surrounding local businesses.
Basils has run seasonal gardening workshops for several years, helping many turn their own patch into a place of abundance, health and beauty.
On Saturday April 28, the farm will run their popular Autumn Gardening Workshop, suitable for all levels of gardening expertise.
Drawing on the skill of Basils Farm in-house gardening guru and farm manager, Igor, participants will learn more about irrigation, soil care and nutrition, espaliering, plant selection, organic fertilisers and Autumn propagation.
Printed notes and a packet of heirloom seeds will also be given to each participant.
This is a fantastic and thoughtful Mother’s Day gift for garden loving mums.
The workshops will run 10am until 12pm, with tickets $40 per person.
You can book directly at Basils Farm (no booking fee) or via basilsfarm.com.au.
