Great day out for dogs and people alike

November 1, 2017 BY

Looking for a family fun day that includes your four-legged family member?

Wallingtons WRG are having another responsible dog ownership day on Saturday (October 7) between 10am and 1pm: their Dog Day Out.

Last year proved to be a huge success and this year looks to be bigger and better than ever.

There will be so much to see and do for the whole family.

Free face painting for the kids, Jimmy from Jimmy’s Dog Training will be there doing demonstrations and giving training tips.

Wallingtons WRG’s favourite kelpies will be rounding up sheep and ducks, which is always entertaining and fun to watch.

Cherished Pets will be there for their regular vet day with their favorite vet Dr Alicia Kennedy, who will be doing free microchip checking for all.

The City of Greater Geelong and Barwon Coast will have information on making sure your pets are registered properly or any further information you may need.

Sponsors from the industry have been very supportive and generous for the day so there will be many specials in store, including dog food, flea and tick treatments and many more items on sale.

Don’t forget to put your pooch in one or all of the many competitions on the day to win amazing prizes.

Mark it in your diary and make a day of it.

Grab a sausage, coffee, cake, a freshman show bag packed full of goodies for your dog (limited to the first 100 families).

Wallingtons WRG is at 370 Grubb Road, Wallington.

Please remember all dogs must be on a lead.
