Head along for a “SPRING-SONG”

October 11, 2018 BY

The Geelong Harmony Chorus Spring into action.

Proud once again to be part of this year’s Seniors Festival, Geelong Harmony Chorus will present an afternoon of fun and musical dexterity from Geelong’s ever-popular women’s chorus.

“Geelong Harmony Chorus sings a cappella harmonies in the barbershop style, which is like the music in the Pitch Perfect movies,” Alex Morris, Geelong Harmony’s Musical Director, said.

“We take our music very seriously, which is why we have been winning medals at our national contests, but we love what we do and it really shows.”

Guest performers will be Around The Blend, a mixed quartet, and Cadence, a women’s quartet.

Joining them will be The Violas, a local duet featuring two talented sisters, Jess and Aleesha Viola.

Ticket prices to the show at The Potato Shed are: Seniors: $15; Adult: $22; Concession: $18; Child: $12.

Included in the ticket price is a delicious afternoon tea with tea and coffee, and drinks are available at bar prices.

Tickets can be purchased online at geelongaustralia.com.au/potatoshed or by phoning The Potato Shed on 5251 1998.

Geelong Harmony is recruiting new singers to join as they begin preparing for next year’s national championships to be held in Hobart in May.
