COLIN Mockett and the band All Shook Up! will bring the music from the King of Rock n’ Roll to stage as part of the monthly Potato Shed “Morning Show Time” series.

The Elvis Presley Story is a tribute to the legendary music icon who sold 260 million records over the course of his lifetime.

It is estimated that more than one billion Elvis Presley records have been sold worldwide.

When Elvis Presley died in August of 1977, his manager Col Tom Parker was asked how he would cope after Elvis’ death.

Parker replied ‘This is not the end. It’s the beginning’. His sentiment rings true, with Elvis fans continuing to buy his albums over four decades since his passing.

Join Geelong historian and entertainer, Colin Mockett as he combines thought-provoking research with state-of-the-art screen imagery to tell The Elvis Presley Story, from the beginning at Sun Studios, via Hollywood movies and Las Vegas big shows.

All Shook Up! will deliver the all-important soundtrack, honouring the legacy and lasting imprint Elvis Presley made on the music industry.

Drop into the Potato Shed on Tuesday September 3 at 10.30am to catch the action. Morning tea will be provided.

Tickets are $17 per person and on sale now via geelongaustralia.com.au/potatoshed or by calling the Box Office on 5251 1998.
