My dream was to run my own business and I tackled it blindly, however my drive, passion and determination were the key to my results.

I felt medicine was a relaxed business model; it didn’t need changing to work, but I wanted to revaluate it and listen to today’s customer’s needs.

Surf Coast Home Doctor came from the desire to help people when they really needed a doctor.

The response to my service was amazing and it’s been fantastic to develop a “one of a kind” medical service the community loves.

My passion and training is skin and surgery, and I enjoy making people feel great.

I wanted a one-stop shop that offered holistic, trusted, research based advice on all skin concerns, while remaining a welcoming environment and listened to patients.

Setting up a business is the hardest thing I have ever done and it constantly provides challenges.

It’s scary, involves long hours, dedication and constant review.

The biggest problems are those I didn’t foresee; for example, the lack of GPs available to work.

The most important thing, though, is having someone close by who supports you, great staff you can support and share your passions and goals with, and the ability to support each other.

Without these people, I have nothing.
