Honu Honi offers a luxury surf camp experience

HONU Honi Surf Camp is the only dedicated surf camp in Victoria, specialising in adult surf education and experiences.

While we teach adults at all levels, we specialise in taking people from standing in the whitewash to riding unbroken waves out the back.

We’ve developed the H.H.SURF Method – a framework that prioritises ocean awareness, mindset, fun, and exercise physiology principles in the way we teach surfing.

We believe that teaching good board control, how to read forecasts, surf etiquette, and much more are just as crucial as learning how to stand on a board and move around in the water.

All of our services are for adults only, as we firmly believe that this provides a better learning environment to ensure our guests get exactly what they want out of their time with us.

We put a strong social conscience at the forefront of everything we do.

We believe in taking care of our environment, acknowledging and honouring the First Nations people of this land, and talking openly about other social issues such as mental health.

We’re focused on building a real sense of community within our surf camp experiences, and want our participants to feel connected – to the community and the planet – while staying with us.

Our surf camps are an all-inclusive experience, with luxe glamping on the Torquay foreshore in big

beautiful bell tents, surf lessons, yoga classes, all meals provided, surf theory and fitness, and unlimited use of all our equipment throughout the camp.

We run week-long and weekend camps year-round, showcasing our beautiful area to visitors.

We’re running a local program this year called Winter Waves, which will run once a week for six consecutive weeks.

This gives our local community the chance to learn through our unique framework while still going about their day-to-day lives.

We’re really excited to share more of what we do with our local community.

Our core mission through all our offerings is to build community and connection – through surf lessons, having wild fun and adventures together, shared meals, and time spent in nature.
