It’s feeding time for all at BASILS FARM

August 22, 2018 BY

Kids can meet and feed the farm animals at Basils Farm every Wednesday followed by lunch for only $15.

The early bird might get the worm, but at Basils Farm early risers get a sensational $20
breakfast for orders placed before 9.45am Wednesday through to Sunday.

Choose from eggs your way and bacon, with a choice of one additional side; smashed avocado on sourdough, with a poached egg and beetroot relish or the farmhouse chef’s special featuring Basils Farm produce and local delights.

Basils Farm loves sourcing local produce and using local suppliers for your breakfast, such as Drysdale Cheese, salmon from the bay, Ocean Grind Coffee and Shultz organic milk.

They also use their own free-range chicken eggs, just-picked herbs and veggies from the gardens and saltbush from the Indigenous trees, at Basils fresh is best.

Meanwhile, due to popular demand kids can now get the farm experience every Wednesday at Basils as opposed to just throughout the school holidays.

The ever-popular “Meet and Feed the Farm Animal” sessions where kids feed baby doll sheep, llamas, chickens and ducks then enjoy a delicious lunch will run from 11am for around 45 minutes.

For lunch, children can choose from a kids’ platter box or a ham and cheese toastie with children under five years to be supervised by an adult.

Cost is $15 per child (please only book in the number of children) with bookings essential, to secure your spot head to obee.com.au/basilsfarm.

Parents can also stay for lunch and enjoy a main meal and glass of wine for $30 as part of Basils locals lunch deal or choose a dish from the a la carte menu.
