Jet have been rocking stages worldwide on and off for the past two decades.

AUSSIE rockers Jet have locked in a double-header of gigs in Barwon Heads and will light the venue up with chart-topping hits and ballads.

The band – including Geelong’s own Mark Wilson – will rumble into the Barwon Heads Hotel to perform on 14-15 May.

Originally a quartet, Jet is best known for its 2003 single Are You Gonna Be My Girl, a major hit in Australia that reached the international radio waves and was later used by Apple in an ad for the iPod.

At the ARIA Music Awards of 2004, the band won in six categories: Album of the Year, Best Group, Best Rock Album, Breakthrough Artist – Album and both Single of the Year and Breakthrough Artist – for Are You Gonna Be My Girl.

Both Are You Gonna Be My Girl and Cold Hard Bitch peaked at number one on the US Modern Rock singles charts and propelled the band to the top of festival bills and charts around the world.

The band reunited for a second time in 2023 and have kept performing together since then.

Following close to a decade of performing together, Jet disbanded in 2012, before reforming for a selection of tribute shows in 2016.

They reunited for a second time in 2023 and were inducted into the ARIA Hall of Fame in November that year.

Jet has been working on a new album and released an exclusive 7-inch single to whet the appetite titled Hurry Hurry in 2025.

The song was Jet’s first new material for more than 15 years, and the band remain poised to make more music in the future.

Now back on stage and ready to embrace a new era, Jet’s The Rumblin’ Regional Revue Tour will be an ode to their success over the past two decades.
