King Of Hits celebrated at Curlewis

Loved and prolific singer-songwriter Carole King will be celebrated in an exclusive night of song, wining and dining at the 2nd ‘Clubhouse Soiree’ at Curlewis Golf Club on Friday, October 27.

Including a three-course dinner prepared by Curlewis head chef Tara Thyer, this very special show will provide a unique experience to relive a true icon as acclaimed performer, Nikki Nicholls, brings the multitude of King’s songs to life.

The Baby Boomer generation fell in love with Carole King’s melodies that seemed to touch the heartstrings of all and with lyrics that simply expressed deep human feelings.

Nikki Nicholls said that she like many other could not get enough of Carole’s music.

“The album Tapestry was such an inspiring musical experience for me in my younger years representing memorable moments in my life. I would play it over and over again until I could virtually sing the songs in my sleep,” Nikki said.

“Her music has withstood the age of time and new generations of soulful melody lovers have discovered her once again.”

The show, You’ve Got a Friend is a musical journey highlighting not only Carole’s creations, but also adding a taste of James Taylor with songs like “How sweet it is to be loved by you”, “Fire and Rain” and “Steamroller Blues”.

“Her life so far, has certainly been a tapestry of rich and royal hue and I feel extremely blessed to be able to present a collection of her amazing, legendary songs that was the soundtrack of our lives,” Nikki said.

Tickets for the event starting at 6.30pm include three-course dinner and show, with drinks at bar prices.
