The newly announced all ages Melbourne show will take place at Rod Laver Arena on Friday, February 20.
Last in Australia in 2024, Wilson blew fans away during her debut visit with a headline performance to remember at CMC Rocks QLD, along with two showstopping, sold-out nights in both Sydney and Melbourne.
Now returning in 2026, Lainey Wilson will celebrate the release of her new album Whirlwind (Deluxe) with live performances for fans in Australia and New Zealand, her biggest headline shows in the market to date.
The deluxe edition of the critically acclaimed Whirlwind was released on August 22, timed to celebrate the one-year anniversary of the original.
“Her music has a blend of brawn, heart and willingness to upend the status quo that’s not only listenable, but also the kind of thing you can’t help but root for,” Rolling Stone wrote of the Nashville star’s album.
Whirlwind (Deluxe) expands on the powerful 14-track collection with five brand-new songs, including the poetic Somewhere Over Laredo and the fan favourite, high-energy anthem Bell Bottoms Up. These new additions further showcase Wilson’s signature blend of rich storytelling, authenticity and trailblazing country flair.

Cementing herself at one of music’s most exciting talents, Lainey Wilson continues to define a new generation of modern country artists and inspire fans around the world.
In 2024, she took home her first Grammy award for Best Country Album, adding to her growing list of accolades, including multiple #1 Billboard singles and a platinum selling catalogue.
In 2023, she made history has the first woman in more than a decade to win CMA’s Entertainer of the Year. Claiming back-to-back ACM Entertainer of the Year Awards, Wilson is an unstoppable force, rewriting the playbook for female artists in the genre.
Joining Lainey on her biggest headline Australia and New Zealand dates are fellow US country artists Flatland Cavalry and Kaitlin Butts.
For the past decade, Flatland Cavalry has built a reputation as “one of the most dynamic presences in country music”, according to Rolling Stone, thanks to their signature “easy on the ears, heavy on the heart” sound.
Meanwhile, Kaitlin Butts, a truly one-of-a-kind artist, has a deep affinity for country music’s more theatrical side: the extravagant storytelling, dazzling showmanship, songs infused with both unbridled emotion and quick-fire humour.
With her fresh, fierce energy and country roots, don’t miss Lainey Wilson’s incredible return to Australia, as the global star prepares to land with her Whirlwind World Tour in February.
