Lift your home into a new way of living

July 4, 2018 BY

Having a Compact Home Lift installed is not only convenient but also makes good financial sense.

When Bruce McCarthy and his wife Margaret, both in their eighties, announced they’d bought a new two-storey home, their children were less than impressed.

“Most people are selling and going to a single storey. We thought ‘uh oh, we might have a problem here’,” Bruce said.

But they found a simple alternative that helped them remain in the new home they loved.

The couple had a Compact Home Lift installed, and they haven’t looked back. Compact Home Lifts is helping people stay in their own homes for longer with a range of space saving and economic residential elevators that can be fitted anywhere in the home.

Customers can choose between the basic model, which fits two people, or a larger lift designed to accommodate a wheelchair.

Bruce says getting the lift was like moving into a new home because of the benefits it brought.

He and Margaret soon found themselves the envy of friends who had already moved out of their homes.

Compact Home Lifts’ Daniel Mawson said investing in an elevator from Compact Home Lifts was not only convenient, it also made good financial sense because it was cost-effective compared to moving house and can add value to a property.

“We found that basic stamp duty alone on a property for $800,000 in Victoria is over $37,000. In the stamp duty saving alone, you could purchase a Compact Home Lift and have some change.

“If you factor all the other cost and stresses of moving out, it’s a no-brainer to stay at home lift.
