Local influencer pulls off Hard FIZZ stack
Geelong 4WD influencer Lachy Poole has teamed up with DJ FISHER’s alcohol brand Hard Fizz in a unique collaboration.
The partnership saw Poole load the back of his ute with more than 2,000 cans of seltzer to build what he is calling the world’s biggest seltzer stack.
‘We looked it up and couldn’t find anyone else who’s tried it, so I reckon we’ve set a new world record for biggest seltzer stack on a ute,” Poole said.
“I know your meant to get the Guinness World Records representatives to come out and ratify it, but we’ve got the picture to prove it, so that’s good enough for me.”
Loaded on the back of the ute with a forklift, the stack ended up being 15 boxes tall and 1.8m on top of the vehicle’s tray, all done without losing a can in the process.
After the boxes were loaded, Poole took them for a drive.
“We were out driving through cane fields and they were taking a heap of cool photos and videos,” he said.
“We went through the KFC drive-through with all the Fizz on the back and it was hilarious.”
The team at Hard Fizz got in touch with Pool about the collaboration, with the idea for the giant stack originally starting out as a joke but quickly turning into a reality.
“Their whole mantra is ‘let the good times roll’ and that’s true for me too, so it feels like a match made in heaven,” Poole said.
“It’s definitely a ‘pinch yourself’ moment to be working with FISHER and his alcohol brand-I’m just a dude who loves bush bashing in my ute.”
Poole is also collaborating with Hard Fizz as part of a giveaway, with one lucky customer having the choice of a pallet of Orange Fizz or $5,000 cash.
