Jet, Grinspoon and The Veronicas are among the Australian rock titans headed to Torquay in March for an electrifying one-day festival event.

Hot off the back of its inaugural season last year, Lookout Festival will make its return to the Torquay Common on March 22, bringing timeless tracks and powerful sounds to those who not only want to hear music but to feel it as well.

ARIA Hall of Fame inductees Jet will headline the festival’s stellar line-up of talent.

The band’s debut album Get Born launched the group onto the world stage in 2001, selling more than 6.5 million albums globally and producing a string of hits including Are You Gonna Be My Girl and Look What You’ve Done that remain crowd favourites more than two decades later.

Meanwhile, Grinspoon has recently wrapped up an extensive 45-date tour around Australia for its newly released album Whatever, Whatever, the group’s eighth over its more than 25-year history.

Debuting at #3 on the ARIA Album charts, the record’s success underscores the band’s enduring appeal and their ability to deliver music that resonates deeply with their audience.

For generational anthems and culture defining tracks, look no further than alt-pop duo The Veronicas.

Comprised of twin sisters Jessie and Lisa, The Veronicas were the first Australian artists to score a platinum record for downloads in the United States for their 2007 hit Untouched.

Their 2024 album Gothic Summer marked a triumphant return for the pair, charting at #1 in Australia, and they show no signs of slowing down.

Much-loved indie rock band Youth Group are also set to make an appearance.

Best-known for their generation-defining cover of Alphaville’s Forever Young, the band returned to the scene in 2019, after a decade long absence, with Australian Halloween, marking a welcome return to their sharply observed lyrics and wistful sound.

The Lookout lineup also includes Spiderbait, Jebediah and Magic Dirt.

Tickets are on sale now via Ticketmaster.
