Sometimes, for various reasons, children develop and grow as they should. The Child Health and Development team are skilled health professionals who can work with you to understand what support your child may need.

Through screenings and assessments, our team can develop an individualised program to support your child in their home, at their kindergarten or school or in other community settings.

Our skilled team include Dietitians, Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Speech Pathologists, Podiatrists, Continence support and Dental services. We also have access to family counseling and maternal child health nurse services.

Our specialist team can offer support in developing fine and gross motor skills, emotional regulation and independence with self care tasks like toileting, dressing or eating. Your child might need support with speech and language development, or help developing skills in social settings.

Our programs are designed in a variety of ways to suit the needs of your child. Our specialists can work with your child one-on-one, in age specific groups, or even activity specific groups for areas addressing physical skills or speech needs.

All our programs are designed to engage with your child in a fun and interactive way using games, activities, music and played based learning.

Bellarine Community Health now also offers a Support Coordination service for families with an NDIS plan. A Support Coordination can work with you to make the most out of your NDIS support budget and assist you to explore your options and coordinate multiple services.
