MIDNIGHT OIL LOVERS TO ROCK BOWLO

Dance off your Easter eggs and get down to see Australia’s premier Midnight Oil tribute band Powderworks at the Torquay Bowls Club on Easter Sunday (April 21).

Local lovers of Midnight Oil can rejoice with Australia’s premier Oils tribute band arriving to the Torquay Bowls Club on Easter Sunday (April 21).

The band, which is based in Melbourne, covers the extensive catalogue of Oils hits from the early albums and EPs, such as their debut album Head Injuries, Bird Noises, Place Without a Postcard right through to the chart smashing 10,9,8,7,6,5,4,3,2,1, Red Sails in the Sunset, Diesel and Dust and Blue Sky Mining.

Powderworks recreate the passion, energy and big, big sound that Midnight Oil is famous for, including their performance in 1982s Live at Capitol Theatre.

Consisting of five seasoned and accomplished players; Alex Hell on vocals and harmonica, Steven Burns on bass and backing vocals, Craig Sayer on keyboards, guitar and backing vocals, David Small on guitar and backing vocals and Joshua Sforzin completing the act on drums.
