Music crawls into chicken shop
The third instalment of the Victorian Music Crawl ran last weekend with Saturday and Sunday featuring artists across the Bellarine and Surf Coast. A delegation of Victoria’s leading booking agents, managers, artists, media and peak body representatives travelled from Melbourne to connect with industry peers in Victoria’s Barwon South West region. A host of local and visiting artists, representing diversity of age, gender and genre showcased performances spanning rock, pop, folk, soul and blues over the various sites on the tour. On Saturday, the crawl was at the Lorne Hotel, Aireys Pub, Anglesea Hotel, the Barwon Club Hotel in Geelong, and in Queenscliff at The Blues Train, and Queenscliff Brewhouse. On Sunday the crawl travelled to Point Lonsdale, the Piping Hot Chicken Shop in Ocean Grove, and then back into a couple of venues in Geelong.
