Nearly a fortnight of stories and fun

April 3, 2019 BY

AVID young readers are invited to watch the magic of stories come to life at this year’s Storyfest, which is running from Saturday April 6 until Thursday April 18.

A 13-day festival hosted by Central Geelong, Storyfest celebrates storytelling in all its forms.

Children of all ages can be part of the fun and create their own stories and artworks through theatre, music, poetry, books, live performances, author talks, oral storytelling, technology, visual arts, craft and much more.

Over 100 activities, workshops, worldclass exhibitions and competitions – which are held in cultural facilities, bookshops, cafes, creative spaces, shopping centres and public spaces across Geelong’s CBD – are scheduled for the fun-filled extravaganza.
