Torquay’s favourite childrenswear brand Oishi-m is loving their fresh new retail space in Torquay Village.

Their move to a new retail store and office space earlier this year comes after a stratospheric rise in business that spans 13 years.

Having won the Geelong Business Excellence Retail Award in both 2016 and 2017, their Surf Coast based boutique store and webstore was lauded as the best childrenswear boutique in Australia.

Last year also saw them win the prestigious 2017 Business of The Year Award.

Oishi-m’s rise in popularity can be attributed to an adoring fan base of loyal customers, wardrobe appearances on Channel Ten’s hit TV series Offspring, and a commitment to quality that sees the Oishi-m team design and source their locally designed clothing collections, with production based largely in Melbourne.

This tremendous growth led them to outgrow the double tenancy they held in Gilbert Street, and a desire to continue serving the local community in a fresh, friendly, premises that is part of a bustling and vibrant setting.

“We are so excited to be in this new space, with so much more room to showcase our Torquay designed Oishi-m garments, and a bevy of the other brands such as; Nike, Adidas, Vans, Saltwater Sandals, Native Shoes, Miann & Co and Kip & Co – whether you’re looking for a gift or daily essentials, we can help you with our extensive range,” owner Miyo Fallshaw said.

Oishi-m’s new store is located at T7, Torquay Village, 41-57 Bristol Road, Torquay. Head to oishi-m.com.
