“Everyone kept telling her to offload the properties and I could understand why. But my client didn’t want to.

And when I really listened to her and understood her ‘why?’ – she was a single mum of two who has worked hard all her life and has a dream to gift the properties to her children – offloading was the very last option in my mind.

“I was able to give her some advice and recommend her to a trusted broker that was able to help.

“It was very much touch and go with lenders, but we got there in the end, and the properties are still being kept in the family.

“We wouldn’t have been able to achieve this outcome if a) my client wasn’t brave enough to ask for my help, and b) I wasn’t totally committed to seeing the deal through.”
