The Potato Shed 2018 Season launched
The Potato Shed is set for another big year with the Drysdale arts venue to host a variety of contemporary arts events in 2018.
The new season launch highlighted that the Melbourne Theatre Company’s Hungry Ghosts; Michael Veitch’s Hell Ship: The Journey of the Ticonderoga; and Hit Production’s Hotel Sorrento would be part of an eclectic range of cultural activities to hit the Potato Shed in 2018.
Last week’s launch was attended by acclaimed Australian playwright Hannie Rayson, one-man-show Michael Veitch and featured music from Clare St Clare.
Hannie Rayson, playwright of Hotel Sorrento, said she loved the Potato Shed.
“It’s a model of community theatre. It’s such a great environment that is beloved by the community and the repertoire for 2018 is terrific. I wish it was my local!”
The Potato Shed 2018 season also features an extensive school holiday program, culminating with the annual Family Fun Day in late October.
