RADIUS Imaging reopens in Torquay

RADIUS Imaging opened in Torquay in May 2022, offering the Surf Coast their first local ultrasound and interventional services.

RADIUS is now proud to announce the addition of services including CT, MRI and digital X-ray located at Suite 2, 136 Geelong Road, Torquay (next door to Peachs Torquay).

Torquay is the latest addition to the locally owned RADIUS group including the main clinic at Waurn Ponds and satellite clinics in Corio, Drysdale and Lara, providing outpatient medical imaging services to patients in Greater Geelong, the Surf Coast and Bellarine.

Bulk Billed Medicare-eligible MRI services will be available at RADIUS Torquay in line with federal government reform to provide critical diagnostic imaging services to regional and rural Australians.

RADIUS has bulk billed Medicare-eligible CT scans since opening in 2015 and will continue to offer bulk billed CT scans and CT injections at RADIUS Torquay.

With a radiologist on site to perform CT and ultrasound guided procedures locally, patient reports can be completed rapidly and be available on the same day if urgent.

RADIUS offers a full range of diagnostic ultrasound examinations in Torquay including abdominal, pelvic, vascular, obstetric and musculoskeletal examinations.

The installation of the latest digital X-ray equipment means lower radiation doses for patients and faster availability of images for referring practitioner to review.

RADIUS Imaging accepts all valid imaging referrals on any request form, allowing the patient to choose their imaging provider.
