Savour summer: three twilight dinners at Basils

January 15, 2018 BY

This summer, for three nights only, Basils Farm will open for dinner.

General manager Kim Dema is looking forward to welcoming guests to Basils Farm for the Summer Twilight dinners.

“We are not usually open in the evening, so we are excited to share the beauty of the property at sunset,” she said.

“Guests can book a table or lay out a picnic blanket and relax to the sounds of live acoustic music as they take in the stunning views.”

The Basils Burner smoker will be fired up and offering guests a delicious American-style barbecue feast.

Basils Farm will also have all the kid’s favourites and a selection of house made cakes and sweet treats.

For some fun, challenge friends to a Finska match on the lawn, a game of giant Jenga, or bocce.

Basils also has a sandpit and a huge lawn area to keep the little ones happy.

Three of Basils’ favourite local musicians will perform acoustic sets from 5.30-8.30pm for each of the Summer Twilight Dinners, including Kristy Wilson, Kieran Tobin and Anthony Dellamarta “Della”.

Basils will also welcome back Dave Dorman of Dog Gone South on Australia Day from 12.30-3.30pm.

Guests will also be able to enjoy wine tastings of the Basils Farm range of wines and can purchase wine by the glass or bottle, in addition to local boutique beers, organic soft drinks, tea and coffee.

The Summer Twilight dinners will run on January 12 (tomorrow), 19 and 26, from 5.30pm – 9pm, with dinner from 6pm-7.30pm.

Bookings are essential and can be made online at basilsfarm.com.au or phoning 5258 4280.
