“I started working for Flying Colours in 1996 (in the UK), which was part of the Dentmaster Group at the time,” Scott said.

“I soon purchased a franchise in 1998 and never looked back.”

Scott has worked at many major dealerships in the UK, including Land Rover, Jaguar, VW, Audi, Mercedes, Ford, Mazda, Kia, and the local fire authority.

“We relocated to Torquay from Shropshire last year to make a new start for our family in a beautiful part of the world and I couldn’t be happier,” he said.

“Everyone has been so welcoming and I love the close community spirit.

“I love my work as it’s always a different challenge. I get to meet a variety of people and the best part is saving them time and money on repairs to their vehicles.”

According to Scott, a typical scratch on a bumper can be repaired in less than two hours at a person’s home or place of work.

“Scuffs and Scratches’ service is more convenient than taking the vehicle to a panel shop, which could take two to three days to repair and you would lose transport too. “My repairs have a starting cost of
$180+gst.”
