Charting the rise, fall and transcendence of Springfield, Late, Late at Night – Rick Springfield is a homage to one of Australia’s favourite sons.
HiT Productions and Creative Australia present The Sunshine Club on March 7. Written by Wesley Enoch, with music by John Rodgers, The Sunshine Club is a gloriously energetic, thought-provoking, and above all, entertaining night of theatre.
WAY, on the VCE Drama Playlist for 2024, is a play driven by passion and shaped by theatrical skill. Performed over two nights and a matinee Wednesday 13 and Thursday 14 March, the production uses filmed sequences and live performances to bring to life a documentary world of women in film.
On March 15, be transported to a Parisian nightclub when Paris After Dark brings the bygone era of enchanting French chansons. Featuring legendary artists such as Edith Piaf; Gilbert Becaud; and Yves Montand.
On Friday March 22, Theatre 3triple2 bring the Farndale Avenue Housing Estate Townswomen’s Guild Dramatic Society take on Dickens’ A Christmas Carol, The Farndale Christmas Carol to the Potato Shed stage. A delightful and engaging comedy, portraying the well-meaning attempt of a small theatre company to bring culture to the masses.
