Working in the scrap metal industry is not the most glamorous of professions, but that has not deterred Jackie.

Having been involved in her father’s company for more than 15 years, she has now ventured out to service the Geelong, Surf Coast and Bellarine areas.

From a city-based scrap metal business dealing with big corporations, Jackie has now taken to the suburbs.

Living on the Bellarine for the past eight years and hearing the requests for a reliable scrap metal removal service, she has decided to create Suburban Scrap Recycling Services.

Jackie’s vision is to help clean up and recycle within the local community by providing a friendly and reliable service for all the residents of the region.

“People have old washing machines, bikes, trampolines, barbecues and all sorts of scrap metal laying around their homes and may not have the time or capacity to get rid of it themselves,” she said.

“We offer a service where we will come into your home and remove all your unwanted scrap metal for a low fee. You don’t need to lift a finger; we do all the work for you.”

As well as domestic scrap metal, Suburban Scrap Recycling Services also service businesses and tradies that need scrap metal removed.
