On Sunday, October 27, the Potato Shed will host the Spookfest family fun day from 10am to 4pm.

There is so much to do and see, including theatre performances, the Haunted House, and outdoor attractions and entertainment.

Get your spook on as you step into the shadows of an abandoned farm, where the barn is the heart of a story that blurs the lines between life and death.

You’ll be enveloped by the eerie silence of the barn that is a ghost of what it used to be. That is, until you discover a secret lab where experiments have produced chilling results.

Theatre Shorts will keep you entertained beginning with Witchy Lee spinning spooky, scary stories to send shivers down your spine.

CircArts will take you on awesome adventures in their amazing short performances which include a spooky safari, haunted time machine taking you on a trip through the ages and monster carnival filled with werewolves, vampires, zombies and skeletons.

To finish the day, get ready to dance your broomsticks off with Doris and Daisy Witch for spine-tingling fun, thrilling dancing games, and eerie tunes that will get you grooving.

The creepy fun for all ages continues outside with a spooky jumping castle, games and treasure hunts, face painting, roving entertainers and ghastly ghouls.

There will be food vans available to grab lunch or bring your own picnic to have under the trees while enjoying live music.

The Haunted House and spooky theatre sessions are “pay what you can” ticketed events, so make sure you book your ticket.

Haunted House is recommended for children aged 8 and up, and children aged 12 and under must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
